Zimmer Air Services Inc. is looking for a Licensed AME with experience to join our team at the St. Thomas Ontario Location

Job Description:

Position entails line and major inspections, including troubleshooting and repair, work package execution and logbook entry. Off-season work includes major inspections on aircraft, removal and installation of main components, operation equipment serviceability, and preparation for the upcoming season. Working season includes daily and routine inspections in the hangar or on remote sites keeping the fleet operational during contracts. Reporting to the PRM when the aircraft is entering into maintenance, any findings, and timeline for completion to best minimize down time during seasonal operation.

Aircraft operated

· Thrush 510P, Air Tractor 502, Piper Single and Twin Engine Series, Cessna Single and Twin Engine Series

Qualifications

· Hold a M1 AME license

· 2 Years License Experience (preferred)

· Hold a Transport Canada Approved Type course for PT6 Series Aircraft is an Asset

· Experience working on RR250-C20 or C30 Engines is an asset

· Valid Drivers License

· Able to provide clean drivers abstract.

Skills

· Communication and interpersonal skills to interact and coordinate solutions with the PRM, pilots, and fellow AME’s

· Demonstrate knowledge of risk assessment involving flight operations and maintenance

· Demonstrate decision making ability and good judgment

· Work as a team to complete projects on time by working under the AME responsible for the completion of the Work Package

· Ability to work independently from the start to finish on the project given by the PRM/DOM

· Keep a clean and organized work area

· Have the ability to plan and organize upcoming maintenance on aircraft under your care.

Additional Comments

When required training will be provided to further your knowledge and understanding of the fleet. Zimmer Air Service Inc is primarily an agriculture company with additional work in Forestry. In the Off-season majority of work will be carried out at the St. Thomas location and Seasonal working being done remotely.

Annual Income

Pay Range: $78800 to $120000 with experience (remote work, and overtime on top will be additional)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $78,800.00-$120,000.00 per year

• St. Thomas, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Willingness to travel:

• 50% (preferred)
