History

Zimmer Air Services Inc. was originally founded as Zimmer Airspray in 1975 to provide aerial application services to the agricultural and forestry markets. In 1981 the company was federally incorporated as Zimmer Air Services to better reflect the expanded range of services offered by the company.

Paul Zimmer is President and Operations Manager. Paul has been with the company since its inception and has held his current position since 1988.

Our helicopter fleet changes from time to time depending on the scope and needs of the day. Presently, the company is operating both single and twin engine aircraft which are involved in a variety of flight operations falling under the scope of privileges granted by Transport Canada. Transport Canada is the licensing and regulatory body in Canada. Areas of operation as described in Operating Certificate # 4918 are between points in Canada, and between points abroad, (Internationally).

After 30 plus years of providing professional aviation services, our company has obtained a respected reputation for its integrity, quality of work and excellent safety standards in all aspects of company operations. Zimmer Air strives constantly to change with the times – adding aircraft types and installed equipment to its fleet that will meet the demand of our clients.
